Equality Check (2024)

Bested 47 teams in the local competition, earning the opportunity to represent the Philippines at the Cannes Young Lions Competition 2024 in Cannes, France.

The brief for the local Young Lions competition is to educate children about Gender Equality. However, children in the Philippines develop gender stereotypes even before reaching the ages of 5 to 7, largely due to the influence of current school textbooks. Gender Equality isn't just a school topic. It can also be taught at home. To inform parents about the content included in school textbooks, we developed Equality Check.
